Heartland Contractors hires a new Project Developer


Heartland Contractors has hired Justin Utpadel as their new Project Developer for their commercial building & excavation divisions, based out of Chippewa Falls, WI.  Justin will be responsible for helping Heartland Contractors grow their client base and develop new business throughout the Midwest.

Justin recently joined the Heartland team with over 16 years of construction experience in both the commercial and civil industries. Justin has experience in a wide range of both public and private construction projects, to include: sporting facilities, health care, office, hospitality, historical restoration, transit, and public infrastructure improvements. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a B.S. in Construction and began his construction management career in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Justin is proud to have served two tours of duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a part of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He enjoys applying the leadership skills and team mentality he gained while in the Army to his work at Heartland Contractors. Justin is passionate about building trust, attention to detail, quality, sharing innovative ideas, and providing the best customer experience possible. He enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such as boating, snowboarding, camping, and hiking.
